
MCC hosts two weekly rides during the extended Summer cycling season (April through October) on Monday Nights and Saturday Mornings. Details about these two MCC sponsored rides are listed below.
** All riders (members and non-members) are welcome at MCC Official Club rides. Non MCC Members may be asked to sign a waiver release before participating in the ride, whereas, Club Members sign a waiver once per season when they signup or renew.
MCC Monday Night Ride (May through October)
Ride Name: Monday Night Ride (MNR)
Ride Description: This year the MRN will be focused for the “Sport Level” rider.
- When: Monday Nights (May through October)
- Where: Holland Aquatic Center
- Time: Ride leaves at 6:30 PM (on Memorial Day and Labor Day - ride will shift morning)
- Sport 1 - Pace of 20-21 mph with a 40 mile loop.
- Sport 2 - Pace of 17-18 mph with a 35 mile loop.
- Sport 3 - Pace of 15-17 mph with a 25 mile loop.
- Each route is marked on the street with “MNR” with different colors for the different loops.
- Ride Leaders will be designated for each of the groups.
- No ride sweepers. Each route has route short-cuts.
- Laminated maps / cue sheets available
- Renewed commitment to following “rules of the road”
NOTE: In the case of bad weather a message will be posted to the Club Ride page on the Forum by 4pm on each Monday afternoon if the ride is cancelled. No message there will mean that the ride is on !

Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Ride
MCC’s first Mountain Bike Ride. Join us and help grow this ride!
- When: Wednesday (TBD - monitor website for official start date)
- Where: Riley Trails (Riley Street in Holland - Park Township)
- Time: 6:30 PM
Thursday Night Tour Ride (June through September)
Ride Name: Thursday Night Tour Ride
Ride Description: This ride will be for those who would like a more leisurely pace with a little more social interaction. The pace will be 12-14 mph (closer to 12 at the beginning of the season) with a starting distance of about 16 miles. We will stay together as a group and there will be no drops. The route will go through scenic northwest Allegan County and we hope to have fun as well as learn how to ride safely on the roads in a group. Just before the end of the ride, we will be stopping at Captain Sundae’s on 40th St in Holland for a treat if you wish or just some social time. As the season progresses, we could add some mileage and maybe stop for a treat at the half way point. The ride starts at 6:30 pm each Thursday and leaves from The Holland Christian Middle School parking lot on Ottawa St. When coming from the north, take the first drive south of 32nd Street.
- When: Thursday (June through September)
- Where: Holland Chrisitan Middle School — Ottawa Avenue just North of the High School.
- Time: 6:30 PM
- Ride Pace: 12 - 14 mph
- Distance: 10 - 15 miles
- One Group riding together.
- Each ride will end with a social gathering (for those interested) at a local ice cream shop, coffee shop, or the like.

Saturday Morning “Sweet Roll” Ride (June through September)
Ride Name: The Sweet Roll
Description: Looking for a longer weekend cruise on your road bike? Then this is the ride for you. We ride to Grand Haven and make a stop at the Morning Star Café for a coffee and one of their world famous cinnamon sweet rolls.
