1. White Pine Trail on Rock Lake Christian Tri-Adventure (2001)

Worst cycling memory:
NC coast tour, 1994 - research said wind from south, but it turned out that in December it's from the North, so didn't actually ride the outer banks! Very high head winds!

Self-supported tour around Leelanau Peninsula, MI, on tandem with Susan and our stuff in the panniers - fall 2003
Cycling advice and tips:
1. Don't start season training w/ "too much, too fast."
2. Drink plenty of fluids and electrolytes on long rides.
3. Touring - just do it, it's a blast!
