Thanks to all of the folks who stepped forward and ran for 2009 MCC board seats. Congratulations to new board members John Wood, Doug Spooner, and Kirk Walter who will join Marshall Michmerhuizen, Mike Clark, Randy Kuite and myself in leadership positions for the 2009 season. I am also pleased to announce that Brian Bowe and John Paris have graciously agreed to help us out by taking positions on our Holland Hundred Committee. Brian and John will be a big help in planning the club’s signature event and primary fund raiser. Please join me in congratulating all of these folks for stepping-up to help the club become more successful in 2009!

The club will be holding on-line elections this coming week to choose our club leadership for next year. I am pleased to say that we have more people interested in board positions than we have seats. Therefore, we will hold a run-off election to choose our seven available board positions. We are asking MCC members to vote for a minimum of seven candidates from the available ballot. Full instructions for our on-line voting will be sent to your e-mail address next week. Voting will end a week from this Sunday, so make sure you vote as soon as possible once you receive your e-mailed instructions.
Once elections are completed, the new board will meet next month prior to the December club meeting to choose club officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer/Secretary). Our newly elected board and officers will take charge of club business starting with our January club meeting. Throw me an e-mail if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for participating in the vote. We have a great ballot of candidates, and any/all of them will do a great job of leading the club for 2009. Take care.
