In keeping with MCC tradition, the Monday Night Ride this week will take place Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. due to the holiday. As always, while riding please remember to obey all of the traffic laws, do not ride more than two abreast, ride at the average ride speeds for your respective rides, and watch out for one another by making sure you stay together as a group…no drops. These are group rides and should be a bit more social than just a training ride. Be safe and enjoy the holiday weekend. Take care.

Fall is fast approaching and so is the cyclocross season! As many of you know, cyclocross is a great way to extend your riding season well into the cold weather months, not to mention its a ton of fun! The club would like to help introduce our members to cyclocross this fall by offering a series of “learn to cyclocross” clinics. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, we would like to gauge the interest level among our members. If you think you would be interested in participating in these clinics, please respond to this posting. If we get a dozen or more folks to respond we will move forward with getting a location, instructors, and lining up some dates starting next month. The MCC Forums have moved!
We have moved the MCC Forums to a new location. This change will allow us to upgrade and maintain the forum software in a more timely fashion. What does this mean to anyone who has participated in the MCC Forums in the past? You will need to re-register your name at the new forum location and all of the old messages (threads) will not be carried forward to the new site!
