Our next monthly club meeting is Tuesday 3/4/2008. Meetings are from 8:00pm-9:00(ish) and are now in the Fairbanks room at New Holland Brewery.
The new location is at 66 East 8th Street • Holland, Michigan 49423 - across from Curragh and Velo City Cycles .
This month meeting will feature Personal Trainer, Jessica Oosting, owner of Valeo Personal Training, cyclist and fellow MCC club member! Jessica will discuss cycling-related core strength exercises and other ways to get (or keep) fit. Perfect timing as you prepare for the 2008 outdoor cycling season!
Upcoming meeting topics include:
- April - Physical Therapist and cyclist Mike Jones of Hanneken Full Potential Physical Therapy on injury avoidance and “complete” fitness.
- May - Heather Bowe, Yoga Instructor and cyclist on yoga for cyclists. She’s an instructor @ the Satya Yoga Center in Saugatuck.
- June - Mini Bike Show featuring area shops.

MCC has been invited to participate in Holland’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 15th. This is a great way to help get some further community exposure and visibility for the club and also a way to dust off that back and get it ready for the 2008 Cycling season!
We’d like to see as many MCC members as possible participate in this event, so please mark your calendars today.
Event: St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Location: Downtown Holland
When: Saturday March 15th.
Where: Line-up for parade riders begins at 11:15 am at Eighth Street MarketPlace on 8th Street and Pine Avenue, near the Civic Center
Who: MCC Members (Please wear your MCC jersey)

Bicycle Swap Meet
March 1st, 10:00am to 2:00 pm
Hosted by: Cross Country Cycle and the Macatawa Cycling Club
Members of the club and Cross Country Cycle are invited to bring anything old, new or thought it was a good idea at the time, to Cross Country’s location and sell, trade or buy cycling stuff.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
· Please, please call Cross Country Cycle and let them know you would like room. Ph. 396-7491, ask for Laura.
· Bring your own table, if needed.
· Spare cash will be needed to complete sales if you don’t want a check. There will be no credit card sales.
· General Public is welcome to attend and PURCHASE, only club members and Cross Country associates are allowed to sell, trade, etc…
· CCC will open doors at 9:00am to allow set up.
Get a good deal and sell what you don’t need! It’s a win-win for all.
